A quick and flavorful twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, these wraps combine tender beef, melted cheese, and caramelized onions and peppers in a soft tortilla for a convenient and satisfying meal.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook onions and peppers until softened and caramelized, about 7–10 minutes. Remove from pan.
Add more oil if needed and cook thinly sliced beef over high heat for 3–4 minutes until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Return vegetables to the pan and mix with the beef.
Warm tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
Place cheese slices on each tortilla, add beef mixture, then top with more cheese.
Fold sides and roll tightly into wraps.
Cook wraps in a skillet for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
Notes
Slice beef very thin for best texture. Do not overcook the meat to avoid toughness. Warm tortillas before assembling to prevent tearing. Cook wraps briefly after assembling for a crispy exterior and fully melted cheese.
