Equipment

  • 1 Glass cup 8 oz capacity
  • 1 Teaspoon For measuring pink salt
  • 1 Citrus juicer Optional, for juicing lemon
  • 1 Spoon To stir

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Warm filtered water Around 8 oz
  • 0.125 tsp Pink Himalayan salt Use finely ground pink salt
  • 0.5 Lemon Freshly squeezed

Instructions

  • Pour 1 cup of warm filtered water into your glass.
  • Add ⅛ teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt.
  • Squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
  • Stir the mixture well until the salt fully dissolves.
  • Drink immediately, preferably first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Notes

Tip: Use finely ground Himalayan pink salt, not table salt.
For a variation, you can add 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar (optional).
Do not exceed ¼ tsp of salt per serving, especially if on a low-sodium diet.
Best consumed on an empty stomach for hydration and detox benefits.
