  • 1 Large skillet For browning meat

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground beef Or turkey or meatless crumbles
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup Or cream of chicken or celery
  • cups Shredded cheddar cheese Divided use
  • 1 cup Frozen peas or corn Optional
  • – Salt pepper, garlic powder To taste
  • 1 bag Frozen tater tots About 32 oz

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Brown ground beef in skillet over medium heat.
  • Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain fat once browned.
  • Stir in cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup shredded cheese, and optional frozen vegetables.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13” baking dish.
  • Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top (optional for extra creaminess).
  • Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top.
  • Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until tots are golden and the filling bubbles.
  • Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Swap ground beef for sausage, chicken, or meatless crumbles.
You can make it ahead and bake later, or freeze unbaked for up to 3 months.
For breakfast version: add eggs and use sausage instead of beef.
